Begonia Study I
Begonia Study I
Description
Part of a botanical pair, this rex begonia study captures the plant's natural spiral growth pattern in tones of bronze, olive, and deep burgundy. The richly veined, almost reptilian texture of the leaves is the real subject here — less a flower piece than a study in pattern and form.
