Twilight Clematis
Twilight Clematis
Description
Deep plum clematis blossoms, their petals veiled in near-black velvet, cluster together above a quiet gathering of ferns, wild foliage, and tiny rust-toned blooms. The dramatic, moody palette gives this piece a nocturnal stillness, while the delicate fern fronds and sprigs beneath add texture and softness. Presented on handmade deckle-edge paper in a soft white frame. Signed by the artist. By Helene van Beuren
